Adi Sankara, also called Adi Sankaracharya, is a 7th century BCE Indian philosopher. Among other contributions, He demystified the complex Hindu philosophy of "Advaitha" or nonduality between us and our Creator. This simple, yet significantly consequential school of thought has provided the platform for social harmony while still retaining our unique diversity.
